  1. Roland JV-1080/XP-50 Drums/Drum Bank

  4. * Drums - load current drum set
  5. * Drum Bank - load the bank of 2 drum
  6.   sets

  9. * Match the JV-1080 Unit number
  10.   to the "Comm Ch" in the driver list
  11.   - press the System button
  12.   - press the DOWN button
  13.   - until SYS-EXC page is displayed
  14.   - Ensure Unit# matches the Comm Ch
  15.   - Ensure Rx.Exc is ON

  17. * Match the XP-50 Unit number
  18.   to the "Comm Ch" in the driver list
  19.   - press the SYSTEM button
  20.   - press the MIDI button (Button 4)
  21.   - press the UP or DOWN arrows
  22.   - until "Unit #" is displayed
  23.   - Ensure Unit# matches the Comm Ch
  24.   - Ensure Rx.Exc is ON

  26. * Note: the JV-1080 and XP-50 do not
  27.   provide SysX codes to load the ROM
  28.   banks into the computer. Patches
  29.   must be loaded singly.

  31. * Note: the XP-50 can not tranmit its
  32.   sequence data via a SysX dump. This
  33.   data must be saved to disk.
